Hire our Heroes – Organized by Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS)

The U.S Chamber of Commerce, Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service (DoL VETS) and Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) will co-host a premier veterans hiring fair on the pier adjacent to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum from 8:30am to 3:30pm. There will be 100 local and national employers representing all industries looking to immediately fill positions in their corporations. Hiring our Heroes is a nationwide program that is focused on coordinating public and private sector efforts to help veterans and their spouses find jobs in local communities where they are returning every day. Over the next 12 months, the U.S. Chamber, DOL VETS, and ESGR will host 100 hiring fairs working with local chambers of commerce across the country with the only measure of success being jobs for the one million unemployed veterans in America.
